ECIP - Embraer Collaborative Inventory Planning is based on a Vendor Managed Inventory concept, where Embraer manages and owns the spare parts inventory on behalf of customers.
Based on data - including inventory levels, maintenance schedules, consumption, and field inputs - Embraer and customers work as one, supported by a dedicated planning team and global supply chain to ensure material availability while reducing cost and complexity.
Spare parts inventory is critical, but managing it efficiently can be costly and complex.
ECIP was created to help airlines and MROs:
Reduce capital tied up in inventory
Improve material availability
Simplify planning and purchasing processes
Leverage Embraer’s expertise and global supply chain
“Through the ECIP program, AMX has been able to reduce inventory investment, carrying and administrative costs, while guaranteeing material availability across our maintenance lines, on time and with flexibility.”
